“Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God, and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind].”
1 John 4:4 (AMP)
When Everything Feels Like Too Much
There are days you sit in silence, wondering if you’ve got what it takes to keep going.
Not just physically—but emotionally, spiritually, mentally.
You ask yourself:
“What if she never comes back?”
“What if it all falls apart?”
“What if I’m not enough?”
I’ve been there.
Still am some days.
But here’s the truth that God keeps whispering back to me, louder than the lies:
No matter what happens to you, Jesus in you is enough for you.
Christ In You—Not Just With You
We talk a lot about Jesus being with us.
But there’s something even deeper:
Jesus is in us.
“...Christ in you, the hope and guarantee of [realizing the] glory.”
Colossians 1:27 (AMP)
This isn’t motivational fluff. This is supernatural fact.
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is living in you.
So even if you’re feeling weak, worn down, abandoned, or misunderstood—
you’re not empty. You’re filled with the One who overcomes.
**The Lie: “I’m Not Enough.”
The Truth: “Jesus In Me Is.” **
Here are some lies I’ve battled (maybe you can relate):
“I’m too broken.”
“I’m too much.”
“I’m not lovable.”
“I’ve failed too many times.”
And here’s what God is teaching me to speak back:
“His power is made perfect in my weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
“He chose me before I ever chose Him.” (John 15:16)
“Nothing can separate me from His love.” (Romans 8:38–39)
“He makes all things new—even me.” (Revelation 21:5)
Faith in Action: What It Looks Like to Trust That He’s Enough
We don’t just hear the truth—we live it. So what does it look like to walk out the truth that Jesus in you is enough?
Here are a few ways I’m doing it:
Prayer Before Panic – Before the anxiety spirals, I pause. I pray. Sometimes just one word: “Jesus.”
Breathwork & Worship – I use breathwork as a spiritual reset. Inhale His presence, exhale the weight. And I surround myself with worship—songs like “Desperate”, “Turn”, “Made for More”—because they remind me who I really am.
Speak the Word Out Loud – Scripture isn’t just meant to be read—it’s meant to be declared. I speak the Word over my emotions and situations daily.
Show Up Anyway – Even when I feel like retreating or shutting down, I show up. For God. For the people I love. For myself.
Final Word: Declare This Over Yourself Today
You may not feel strong.
You may not have all the answers.
But you don’t have to.
Because… No matter what happens to you, Jesus in you IS enough for you!
Let that truth settle into your soul. Let it lead your decisions. Let it be your anthem when the storms come, and when the silence lingers.
If this post stirred something in you, let it move you closer to Him.
Not toward performance. Not toward pretending.
But toward presence—His presence within you.
Let’s talk about it:
When’s a time you’ve had to lean hard on Jesus in you? Drop it in the comments or message me directly. You’re not alone.
