Spiritual Bypass

This week’s Anchored Update reflects on spiritual bypass, the way we can sometimes use spiritual language, Scripture, prayer, or truth to avoid grief, responsibility, repentance, or healing. I’m sitting with the question of whether my faith is helping me become more honest before God, or whether I’ve sometimes used the right words to keep from facing what still needs His touch.
